ITC Lubalin Graph

Created by: Herb Lubalin

ITC Lubalin Graph was created in 1974 by Herb Lublain for the International Typeface Corporation. It’s design was based off of Lubalin’s previous typeface design of ITC Avant Garde Gothic. His new design for Lubalin Graph featured the same geometric characteristics as his previous work, but with the additional feature of slab serifs. There are equal weighted strokes, perfect circle round shapes, and rectangular serifs. Lublin Graph is an Egyptian style font. Herb Lubalin was a New York designer known for his groundbreaking innovations in typography. His work broke traditions and redefined what was possible in typographic designs.
